Laboratory services and qualification testing

ISVR Consulting carries out laboratory measurements and qualification tests to International, British and other standards in several areas. We also carry out similar testing in the field. Services offered include:

Sound Power Determination (ISO 3741, ISO 3742 and ISO 3745) including Measurement of airborne noise from Information Technology (computer) and Telecommunications equipment (ISO 7779, ECMA-74)
Sound Power Determination using sound intensity methods (ISO 9614-1 for measurements at discrete points, and ISO 9614-2 for measurements by scanning)
Measurement of Transmission Loss and Sound Reduction Index (ISO 140)
Measurement of Sound Absorption (ISO 354:2003, ASTM E1050, ISO 10534)
High Intensity Acoustic Exposures (MIL-STD-810, BS 3G 100)
Qualitative and quantitative measurements on microphones, loudspeakers and audio equipment
Qualification of passenger public address systems in aircraft (Civil Aviation Authority Specification 15)

ISO (International Standard) numbers are shown for convenience. British or European equivalents are normally technically identical (eg BS EN ISO 3741 and ISO 3741).
